How to mine oil ark ragnarok

The oil is just rocks sticking out of the ground in the water, and they spew oil up towards the surface. They're pretty easy to spot. Travel along some shorelines and you'll see them. They're pretty easy to spot.

The snow mountains that's south east of the blue obelisk has oil on it that you can build some oil rigs on. I have 3 or 4 of them up there. Not the massive mountain chain by the desert but that little one that's on the same island as the blue obelisk. Try 32, 34 on the map. The Southwest corner between the dragons and the desert islands has two veins and the waters nearby have some as well. Prior to building my base in the SW i liked taking argents to the ice caves near viking bay to load up.My first base was in the highlands and the dead whales can be a source for small amounts. Oil is an abundant though somewhat difficult resource to harvest in Ark. It is found in the Ocean around the Island. Luckily, there is a reasonable amount in the shallow shores along the coast,in addition to drops from the Trilobite. Dear Wildcard, Please fix the oil veins on Ragnarok, or add some more that players are actually able to place oil pumps on. I've found 4 so far that for some reason an oil pump cannot be placed on. Seriously, wtf is the point of oil veins that are unusable? Any that can have a pump placed have already been claimed, and most people keep their pumps locked up :( Trying to mine an oil vein on ragnarok prim plus but my pick doesn’t do anything? Close. 2. While harvesting, Dunkleosteus can defend its rider from all but the largest threats in the waters. And once it is past its prime, the Dunkleosteus itself can be harvested for
